Meet Davinder Singh – the man behind Bombay Café. From Punjab, India, Mr. Singh traveled here with his family in search of the American dream. In 1994, he acquired “Bombay Food and Gifts” – a modest grocery store with a kitchen inside that originally served a few items – chicken curry, Punjabi kadhi, and home-style parathas.
Over time, the business expanded, along with the idea to serve traditional, home-cooked Indian food to the community. With that mission, Mr. Singh and his wife opened up Bombay Café in 1998.
For over 22 years, Bombay Café has grown with the support of his family and is now a great staple of Northern Virginia. It is best-known for its sweets, appetizers, curries, and freshly-made samosas. Bombay Café takes pride in using high-quality ingredients and making everything from scratch in-house. Come on in!
