Bond parade floats began in the midst of World War II with its famous “BANDWAGON”, selling war bonds at celebrity-filled rallies in Times Square.
As the demand presented itself, our displays became mobile, and Parade Floats began to reflect the national scene; ethnic pride, historic celebrations, holiday festivals, and national inaugurations.
Soon Hollywood discovered floats and scores of films were dramatically depicted on mobile units that preceded the premieres.
